‘Twice In A Lifetime’ was the theme song of the 1985 film of the same name.

The song was written and recorded by Paul McCartney during the Pipes Of Peace sessions.

The film, directed by Bud Yorkin and starring Gene Hackman and Ann-Margret, was a remake of the BBC drama Kisses At Fifty. Both were written by Colin Welland.

McCartney’s song appeared over the film’s end credits. It was commercially unavailable until it was released as a bonus track on the 1993 reissue of Pipes Of Peace.
