‘Get On The Right Thing’ is the third song on Wings’ second album Red Rose Speedway.

It was recorded during the Ram sessions at New York’s Columbia Studios in October 1970, and finished the following February at A&R Studios, again in NYC.

‘Get On The Right Thing’ was left off Ram, but was considered for release as a single towards the end of 1971. After that plan was shelved the song ended up on Red Rose Speedway in 1973. The song and ‘Little Lamb Dragonfly’, another Ram outtake, were the oldest recordings on the album.

Previous song: ‘My Love’
Next song: ‘One More Kiss’
