‘I Don’t Want to Do It’ was recorded by George Harrison for the film Porky’s Revenge.

The song was written by Bob Dylan in 1968. Harrison recorded a demo version during the 1970 sessions for All Things Must Pass, but it was taken no further at the time.

Harrison was invited to contribute to the Porky’s Revenge soundtrack by Dave Edmunds, who produced the 1984 recording.

In 2009 the song was remastered by Giles Martin and included on the compilation Let It Roll: Songs By George Harrison.

The 1970 demo was included in the 50th anniversary box set of All Things Must Pass in 2021.
