‘Heading For The Light’ is the seventh song on Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1.
The song was mainly written by George Harrison, with lead vocals by Harrison and Jeff Lynne.
‘Heading For The Light’ was released as a single in West Germany, on 12″ vinyl and compact disc. The b-sides were ‘Rattled’ and ‘Last Night’.
It was also considered for release in the USA, but was eventually issued only as a promotional single. It reached number 7 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, based on radio play.
