Was this how British singles used to be issued? Not in paper sleeves only, but with an outer cardboard sleeve? Well, except that some of these are Japanese and Spanish.
No, these are the spines from the recent singles box set, which took artwork from a variety of countries. The original UK singles were in paper sleeves.
Thanks for the reply. It is amazing how much thought Apple puts into every Beatles project. I was impressed with the 3 50th Anniversary albums, and the mono album releases, I mean they even went to the effort to have different fonts used on the spine, although they are reminiscent of contemporary album issues, if I remember my vinyl UK albums correctly.
