Reading about Cyn and John in Liverpool, the tensions around The Beatles touring, first to Germany and then later the world, helped me get through times in my life, that at least to me, were similar to the struggles they went through.
They were “black and white” in a time when everything was exploding with color, and so it’s not surprising that things turned out the way it did. However, after reading Cynthia’s book ‘John’, as well as other biographies that focused on their relationship, I believe that things would have gone far better for not just John, but for The Beatles as well, if they had found a way to work through their troubles and stuck it out.
