  1. No story? Come on! Did Jane hit on John or John hit on Jayne? Really? He’s John Lennon (A Beatle)
and she’s a Gorgeous actress. I guess they were both married and honored that! ????????????

  2. Ike j lennon really honored marriage! Jayne Mansfield is mashed agaunst the little hound who always seemed to pick those who idealized him. I doubt he was faithful to yoko ono. But Cynthia got the worst end of the stick. All those drugs and the Beatle version of Karma too–LSD AND lord knows what else later. I guess when you think your the best nothing or no one gets passed up that might be even close to your own vision of your inflated self.
Jayne may have only toyed with john. Perhaps marriage had made her less of an egomaniac, but marriage didnt seem to do that to lennon, after all he was busy blowing off about peace even though he really only saw it through a haze of drugs and Eastern guru types. He was always so bossy and fame. It is how anything he did seemed.

  3. I rather fancy Lennon felt forced to marry Cyn and fell out of love after a fairly long time trying to stay in. Of course, where Jayne Mansfield was concerned in 1964, all’s fair in love and war.

  4. Given the fact that John urinated into the “special Beatle drink” he mixed for her, I don’t think he harboured any attraction for her.

  5. Back in their day all The Beatles were said to be partial to buxom blondes e.g. Bardot and Monroe. Mansfield fitted the type. Diana Dors and all that.
