Okay, time for the mockery. You know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when… you find a Beatles reference within…. an Aerosmith article. Here it is. (Let's see if any one else sees it). Aerosmith are currently hanging out in The Boneyard, Joe Perry’s home sudio. Producer Jack Douglas is on board – he’s the man behind Aerosmith albums like Rocks, Honkin On Bobo and the classic Toys In The Attic. A video has been released showing Perry and Douglas going through the studio discussing their gear
That's not a reference, per se, as it is his JOB to produce records. It's just part of his resume. 🙂

Where did you get these? And how can I get them? I don't care if my thumbnail is blank. Maybe I'll find a or .
Wait … I know the perfect thing to put on your thumbnail:

They're really just pictures from the internet that I resized, cut out, and then stuck on my fingers with some top-coat nail polish.
I learned how to do it from a Youtube video (where else does one find such things but the glorious Youtube?). It's for the Smurfs but imho the Beatles look way cooler:
And now that you mention it, a lot of the smileys would work really well…. This will be fun

You know you're a hardcore George Harrison fan when you listen to this…
And you smile when George says “I'm in one.. ah two.. ah one two three…”

When you go into a cafe and decide to stay as soon as you see beatles pictures on the wall.
You hang about in a shopping mall until the beatles song thats playing finishes even tho you have places to be.

I dont see a mistake. It could be read that Love Me Do has the yeah yeah yeah's when its really She Loves You but i thought that was more how it was written. If its not i have no idea – and im not hardcore. Or is it “The Beatles undeniable re-shaped pop culture and forever changed the musical landscape.”

Love Me Do was released in 1962! 1962 + 50 is not 2011! Or their math just failed them.
Step on the gas and wipe that tear away.

The article begins
The greatest and most successful band of all time, a British band who next year will celebrate a landmark 50 years since the release of their debut single Love Me Do .
It says next year which is 50 years. That isnt an error.

I don't care what it's about, Paul would win.

You hear Macca's song “Freedom” being played over the loudspeakers on 9/11 at the Women's Finals of the US Tennis Open – and you look all around to see if anyone else seems to recognize the song (nope).

I wouldnt recognise Freedom if it was announced as a Paul song and then they had a video of Paul in the background as it was playing. I listened to it a few times when it first came out, then filed it away and havent played it since. Too connected to the dire Driving Rain boredom fest.
B.O.T. You here a song with yeah in it and instinctly recall how it was the Beatles were questioned when looking to include Yeah Yeah Yeah in She Loves You . So long ago.

“Freedom” has never been a favorite of mine. It borders on embarassing. (To my ear it sounds like a re-make of “If I Had a Hammer”). Still, it made me perk up when it came out over the stadium's PA system.
Speaking of “yeah,” do you know the story of Paul's father's reaction when Paul first played him a demo?
He said something to the effect of , ” Paul, really, you should sing “yes, yes, yes””
History wouldn't have been quite the same….
