It's actually really fun. The hard part is carrying the textbook. Polythene Dan and I have named the textbook (Gardner's Art Throughout the Ages, Twelfth Edition, if you're interested in looking it up) “The Brick” because it's 1150 pages.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

As a college student, none of my books have been that big. Brings back memories of AP Bio in high school *shudders*. It's good you at least like the class. Seems interesting though for sure. Good luck in May with the exam.

I've seen that video and it's just awesome!!
And I learned something about Communism when I studied Art thanks to Diego Rivera. He had the great idea of painting Lenin in a mural Rockefeller asked him. Of course Rockefeller was pissed off and painted the walls white again, and Rivera painted the mural in Bellas Artes instead. I'm not Communist, I don't endorse Lenin, I don't agree with Rivera political ideas, but man, that was of putting Lenin in a Rockefeller wall was genius hahahahahahahahaha

I know this is off-topic but I just wanted to let you know, M3, that I feel your pain! I had to lug around a ginormous art history book, too, in college. I graduated 3 years ago and that class ended 5 years ago for me, but I kept the book. I thought since I carried it around for a freaking year that selling it back would be like wasting all that hard labor! Haven’t touched it since, but I like to think that having it on my bookshelf makes me look smart.

You comb through your history textbooks to find mentions of the Beatles. You find two! (in one of the books. The other book is forced to bear the shame of having no Beatles references.)
I did that in high school. I don't remember if my AP USH book had them in it, but my Sociology book did. It was talking about rumors and mentioned the Paul is Dead rumors stuff with a picture of Sgt. Pepper 's.

When you first get a facebook and you put Ringo Starr as your profile picture, then you feel joyful when you go to school and people ask if thats you brother. True story, but they said my nose was smaller.

YKYAHBFW: You were incredibly excited to hear Sgt. Pepper on a record. Funny story actually, we were trying to listen to a Beatles single of I Wanna Hold Your Hand/I Saw Her Standing There that my friend had, but while they were setting up the turntable I was bored so I looked around at my friends parent’s record collection. I was looking at the B section of it, and my eyes caught on Sgt. Pepper almost instantly. “Hey, look at this!”, I said as I pulled it off the shelf. They all were so excited, and I was so proud that I found it. We listened to it, just so excited to be able to experience a vinyl record’s sound (IT SOUNDED AWESOME!!), and then we messed with the little button that changes it to for 45 record, and I have to admit that With A Little Help From My Friends sounds adorable in a high pitched voice. 🙂 Then we went downstairs and watched Help !, it was a perfect weekend.

Not to be a killjoy, but that ruins your record quite fast. Oh yes, that reminds me. I need to spin the Abbey Road vinyl I have soon. Unfortunately my parents didn’t have much in the way of Beatles vinyl.

You know that you are a hardcore Beatles fan when whenever you start typing something that starts with a capitol b, you subconsciously start typing Beatles
