I could do without the mustaches. Poor Paul doesn't look too good with just a stache, a la the early/mid 70s. It's just odd to see them go from fresh faced, cheeky little buggers to grown men with facial hair.

Offline Apparently Paul’s was to cover up cuts/scars from the moped accident, though the dates don’t tie up (the accident happened before the Paperback Writer /Rain videos – you can see his chipped tooth). The others are said to have copied him by similarly growing moustaches, though I have to confess The Beatles’ facial hair isn’t a subject I’ve researched too deeply

Offline Ringo of course has the best mustache of them all. I can't find any examples at this moment, but he does.
The only time I liked Paul with facial hair was the Let It Be beard. That beard was amazingly awesome.

Offline I think Ringo best pulls off the long hair and moustache combo. His just looks natural. George’s, too. But I don’t really like the look of just moustache on J & P. Paul’s has that weird gap in it some of the time. Have you guys seen pics of him with a mullet AND that stache? It’s really scary. That’s the only time I would think twice before tapping that. I mean, I’d still do it, but …
