Imagine being high in that bathroom. You'll end up thinking you're a fish. lmaooo
If I had that bathroom, it would take me even longer to get ready for something. And I would song Yellow Submarine and Octopus' Garden every single time I walk inside of it.
Dude, it's just too cool.
*17* The universe thinks its cool too.

This is more of “You know your mom's a hardcore Beatles fan” one.
1. Your “Beatles arguments” with your mother don't involve the Beatles being drug-soaked hippies, but instead whether the family was singing “Yesterday ” in the right key during the power outage.
2. “The End ” comes on in the car, and your mom starts bopping the steering wheel in time with the drum solo.
3. Your mom makes a special box for the Beatles remasters and she decorates it with pictures of the Beatles.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Your mom reminds me a bit of mine. Except my mom isn't quite that fanatical about them as any of us are. Which tribute band are you seeing in March Sun King ?

M3 kinda reminded me of something that I do from her post. Whenever I am waiting for something and there is a countertop or some kind of surface near by I always tap the drum part to “The End ” with my fingers. Helps pass the time, since I am very impatient. 🙂

Ah, Mrs. M., your mom is a lot cooler than mine was. I remember she would always point out the drug references whenever the Beatles were playing on the radio or something.
I still wonder if she grew up liking them and maybe fell out with them when they became all psychedelic. In my mind's eye, she was a Paul fan.

Sounds kinda like my mum! But she once said that John was her favourite, 'cause he had the best jokes.
Also, she wanted to see their '64 Maple Leaf Gardens concert, but my grandma wouldn't allow it, because she was only 16, just recently learned to drive, and not confident enough to drive 200 miles to see 'em.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

I've been thinking of my mom a lot lately, and it has been spurred on by watching all those girls going crazy for them during their performances. She was 12 in 1964 when they were first on Ed Sullivan; I can so see her taking a nutty for them — she was the right age. 🙂
Another 17 — I must be onto something.

Is this the Mom thread? Because this is cool. I Think Pepper wasn’t my mom’s cup of tea, and she only had 4 of the First CD’s. Then, I started getting the Remasters, and she would always listen and Sing along. I am here on this site because of the great music taste of her
