Yeah, that idiot writer didn’t know what he was talking about. I went down and “Liked” a bunch of the comments of people who felt the same way. I wouldn’t even say there IS such a thing as a Worst Beatles Songs list, just a Least Favorite Beatles Songs list … which would be very short.

Bonus: Picking on Revolution 9 is too easy, and Strawberry Fields Forever is too. The one most won't “get” so why bother, and the other just to prove that they're a “real critic”.

Offline SO on a lighter note, where we aren't all tossed into fits of rage from silly non-beatlebiblers….. You know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when you meet another huge Beatles fan it's not a competition to see who likes The Beatles more, it's an entire night ignoring everyone around you and talking about everything you love about them!

Hey! 100 posts! Look at you!
That site BeatlesSecret introduced me to the idea of “I'm more fan than you are,” which is pretty dumb. I hate the ones that say “I can't believe they call themselves a fan and all they know is Hey Jude !” Haven't we all been there before? It's not like you learn about the Beatles through osmosis or something, becoming omniscient right after being ignorant.
Anyways, yeah, I like when the situation you mentioned happens more. 🙂
The guy I met Saturday let me look at his iPod and I noticed not only did he have The Beatles on there, but he also had Paul McCartney 's solo work on there. A quick scan through showed me he was the only solo Beatle on there. I admit that I had the passing thought of whether that held any significance, but then decided it could probably just mean he likes his music well enough to have bought it first. 😛

I don't agree with the author on his/her choices, but such a list is no different than us doing the very same thing.

Offline YKYAHCBFW you are extremely pissed when you find out that the episode of “Jeopardy!” you missed last night had a Beatles-related category and you would have looked really smart in front of your roommate!
Also, when you have to design a spec ad at work and it happens to be for a tour bus company and you go all out and make it for Magical Mystery Tour . (Have I said that before? It seems like I have … ) It is AWESOME, you guys. I will try to upload it tomorrow for your viewing pleasure.
