When once you get your Beatles violin book with 89 songs in it you plan on playing a lot of them, recording the sound of them, and then posting them on youtube and calling them covers.
That sucks that you guys have to deal with people always bugging you about likeing the Beatles. Most of the people I know really like their music. (Especially most of the guys I know on like the basketball team.)

That is strange, I've found that it has become much more popular to be a Beatles fan in 4th-12th grade levels. Whenever I do substitute, I see a lot of students with Beatles paraphernalia on and all the kids think I'm so fun because I'll let them listen to The Beatles. I definitely understand that there are people who dislike them but I feel it's become much “cooler” to like The Beatles then it used to be. Then again, I am helping with the derailing. I do love that more people are listening to The Beatles! More than when I was growing up at least.
When are you free to take some tea with me?

Aw, you guyz…I bet John wouldn't have been opposed to all rap music if he had lived. He was hip enough to appreciate disco in '75!
Anyways, YKYAHBF when your idea of a classic Christmas song is “Please Don't Bring Your Banjo Back”

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Shoot, I imagine John getting into electronica and maybe seeing what a rave was all about. 🙂

When someone tells you that the Beatles are gone and this is a new generation and that you should forget them, you get really mad and rant on about how they pretty much changed music forever but they STILL can't get it through their thick skull. Sorry, I was pretty mad at them.
Someone else posted this in another thread. The saying on the poster works no matter what bands the nay-sayers listen to.

That picture has been posted in these pages for a long time and that's the first time I noticed that – nice catch M3!
You are indeed hardcore.

I actually only looked carefully at that one today. I think I noticed George's “turnip” hair and realized that on the cover, George was on the far left, not the far right.

Nice Catch. I only remember noticing Ringo was not where I remember, but I don't play BFS to much.

Not all rap, Von! Just the crappy stuff about abusing various substances/people.
OK, fair enough! (And I don't even own any hip-hop that's newer than 1998 so I don't know what I'm talking about, really…)
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

… When you listen to a certain song by one of your other favorite bands and the line that goes “The Beatles? Just a band,” comes on and you pause it every single time and say, “NO, they are not *just* a band.”
Coincidentally, it’s by a hip-hop artist. I guess John wouldn’t like them very much. Actually, he probably would because he’d totally agree with that line. But whatevs.

You smile when the American Idol people do Beatles covers.

Did you see the Oh! Darling one from tonight? That is the one I thought of.
My friend told me Steven Tyler got mad at someone for messing up a Beatles song yesterday, also Oh! Darling . Did anyone catch it? I can't find any clips yet, but I probably will soon.
