Well, he's not young enough to be my son… so … can I have him?
I'm convinced that Mithveaen McCartney sounds cool. (Not as cool as Mithveaen Harrison but …)
Actually just kidding. I don't want to be a pirate Mrs. McCartney. If I'm going to be Mrs. McCartney it had better be with the real thing.
(And I'll end up like this if I keep waiting)
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.
Beware of Darkness…

Whenever you're bored at work – and that happens a lot – you type random Beatles songs in Google News search box, and see which journalists are cool enough to quote them
Too bad since the Beatles joined iTunes, the results aren't as interesting
My first 9!!

So my English 1 teacher gave my class an assignment to do a report on a poet.
I chose John Lennon , of course.
She argued with me that he was not a poet, but just “a singer in a stupid band.”
Brought In His Own Write to school.
Proved her wrong….
WIN.
Edit: Would this post go in this thread? Er, whatever…
Sunii: DON'T TELL ME WHERE YOUR TEACHER LIVES.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I'd be friends with him.
My teacher used this for an example of mood this year. Also, I got her to play Beatles songs one day, and the volume was really loud and the first song that played was Help ! I bet you could've heard the “HELP! I NEED SOMEBODY” all the way downstairs. I was laughing my arse off!

I was walking around with my friend and we crossed the street and I did that lol. She had no clue what I was doing, but it was so fun.

Another one is to pass the time on long bus/traing journeys, i try to list every single beatles song, in order, like write down every track from every album, in order, with singles and EPs in between!
I would love to reply to you all personally but I just haven't enough pens!
We hope you've enjoyed listening to our records, as much as we've enjoyed melting them!

Wow! That's awesome! Do you say it in your head or out loud? I have no clue why I asked that. What I do is I get out my iPod, turn up the sound, go to artists, select the Beatles, and hit shuffle. Most of my fam gets annoyed by this, because when they try to talk to me, I am miles away in Beatleland. They shouldn't even bother XD.

The Beatles are constantly on shuffle in my car.
I try to do it in my head so as not to annoy/baffle other people, but if I have pen and paper to hand i will write down, makes it easier to remember.
Only done it 100% a couple of times, occasionally i'll forget something like Wild Honey Pie or The Inner Light or You Know My Name

Wow, this is like the expanded version of the game the girl used in Panic Room to calm herself down (she named all the albums the Beatles made in order.)
You're more hardcore, though. 🙂

Wow, I didn't know she did that in the movie! I need to watch it again, haven't seen it in a while. How did I miss that?!?

You see you got a message from a guy, and it's one of *those* messages, and you turn on the Beatles knowing whatever it says, the music is going to soften the blow.
And it does.
*17* That's right!
*hugs* Hey, don't worry, you are not alone. My boyfriend just broke up with me, and lo and behold, now I am listening to the Beatles. They always help, no matter what, and they are always there for you. 🙂

I suggest you listen to some Zeppelin and Elton John-age.
ALWAYS helps me when I've been dumped.

Aw, thanks, ladies! Nigel, I suppose it's always better to know sooner rather than later that something is just not going to work out. I know it can sometimes be a day to day thing, so I hope you're doing all right now. 🙂
Led Zep and Elton John, eh? Considering I went from wanting to play Henry Rollins and go kickboxing on Friday to watching and rewatching Mamma Mia (and singing ABBA along with the actors when I could *cough*) the rest of the weekend, I think I'm going to be all right. 🙂
But certainly, the Beatles are my go to band when I'm feeling…well, OK. I'd play Smashing Pumpkins if I were angry, and maybe Radiohead if I were feeling mopey, but I guess I was looking to feel like someone's got my back, I suppose, kind of like the friend who makes stupid jokes at the expense of the person just to get you to laugh.
