You listen to songs like This Boy 3 times in a row so you can sing along to all the harmonies!
I would love to reply to you all personally but I just haven't enough pens!
We hope you've enjoyed listening to our records, as much as we've enjoyed melting them!

Heh, I just try to sing along to all of the harmonies at once. It makes some interesting sentences/changes in tones.

You are bored in class and write out the words to “Please Please Me ,” “Not A Second Time ,” and “It Won't Be Long” (in that order) around the edge of your paper.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Or you keep restarting the Anthology “strings only” version of Eleanor Rigby over and over until you sing every word correctly.
What a cool feeling when you nail it!
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

You see you got a message from a guy, and it's one of *those* messages, and you turn on the Beatles knowing whatever it says, the music is going to soften the blow.
And it does.
*17* That's right!

So my English 1 teacher gave my class and I an assignment to do a report on a poet.
I chose John Lennon , of course.
She argued with me that he was not a poet, but just “a singer in a stupid band.”
Brought In His Own Write to school.
Proved her wrong….
WIN.
Edit: Would this post go in this thread? Er, whatever…
Thursday night your stockings needed mending.

1. You hear a Beatles song on the radio and you flip and tell everyone in the car to shut up.
2. You do a project on music in the 20th century and you have sections dedicated to them.
3. You dream about them. A LOT.
4. You bump into somebody and almost call them Paul McCartney . (True story :D)

One of the first boys I met and had a crush on in high school had the last name McCartney. I thought there'd be something behind that, but alas, it was never meant to be. 🙂

I'm sure you will find your own George Harrison and be happy with him. I'm just happy to dream with the original one
And Sunii, WTF with your teacher?? I mean, God knows I'm not the best teacher in the world and I sometimes have little patience, but calling someone they like “Stupid”????????????????” The hell!!!
Ok to continue on topic. Well, kind of : Today I went to my neighborhood's bakery to buy some bread for dinner, and while paying it, the kitchen door was opened and I listened to the notes of Imagine . To my surprise, the baker (who was preparing tomorrow's morning dough) was singing the lyrics in perfect English. The cashier said when I turned my head towards the kitchen “He sings all the time”.
So you know you're a hardcore John Lennon fan when you smile while eating a bread that was prepared under the music of Imagine .
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
