I have to chose a paint colour for my livingroom/lounge and I am seriously thinking of going for Milk And Honey (that’s an actual shade) solely because it’s the name of one of John’s albums; I cannot form an opinion based on what looks modern or matches.

You should go with dusty rose. It’s still Beatle-y because “Rose and Valerie,” but it’s also a really nice color. It’s a mix between pink a beige. We painted our living/dining room pink after years of me suggesting it and nobody being convinced. They are now, though.

When you go on a whole rant about the Beatles to anyone close to you (in my case, my grandparents and friends) when you hear a word that was MAYBE in a Beatles song or has even a minor relation to them.

(someone help me please I can’t stop thinking about them. they’ve infected me with their fab-ness paul-mccartney )

Your boyfriend gets gifted these Beatle-y things at Christmas by his brother, and you’re jealous that they aren’t for you. (Although we live together so I still get to enjoy them.)

My next door neighbor’s grandkids were out playing in her yard. They were running and playing cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers, or something like that. One yelled out “bang, bang.” Of course I had to reply Maxwell’s Silver Hammer . I didn’t stop to explain. Should have.

When you get annoyed at how Beatlemania is underplayed when new artists come onto the scene. 300,000 people swarmed Adelaide to meet the fabs when they came to town, in an age of no social media level promotion. It was something else.

This really annoys me too! The Beatles had now way to reach as many people as say Taylor Swift and yet thousands of people greeted them whenever they showed up. Plus you have to consider that in the 60’s the word wide population was way lower then these days.

Exactly, and The Beatles went from 0 to 100 on the world stage pretty much instantly once they recorded their first album. It wasn’t something that took years and years to develop. They started big and just got bigger.

Is this scene from Ahsoka makes your brain scream Yellow Submarine

20240625_195253-1.jpgImage Enlarger

The ship is only on the screen for a few seconds, but my brain immediately recognized that shape. I wonder if it was intentional.

Is the guy in blue the same as who plays the evil Terminator in ‘T2’?

Huh, that could be a Blue Meanie!

Lars Mikkelsen plays Grand Admiral Thrawn in Ahsoka. Robert Patrick is in Terminator 2. I see they have similar facial features.

For a while have been sorting out and arranging the outtakes into alternate albums and have ended up with the finest arrangement on my phone. ‘Hot As Sun’ are the February ’68 sessions but cannot find a decent cover picture or name clearly depicting that and it doesn’t fit in my head adding them to the ‘WA’ sessions. ‘A Doll’s House’ are the Esher demos. ‘YS’ was cut up years ago and so the accommodate the Martin orchestral work is down as the ‘Songtrack’ due to the remixes.

I was thinking to myself today, if eve asked how I feel about The Beatles, I’d say “proud”. Proud that these guys achieved what they did. Especially considering their age. When you look back you see how young they were, and how they “laid it down for all to see”. Well done lads. heart
