When your boyfriend is a Beatles fan, but does not have the knowledge you have on them. He presented me with a shirt from ebay for Christmas assuming it was a John Lennon /Paul McCartney solo tour or them together. It says Revolution : We All Want To Change The World Tour- John Lennon and Paul McCartney . Even has tour dates. What it is shirts inspired by the lyrics by John and Paul. You try to correct him, but stop mid way because his family is there. I love the thought and I know he did it because he loves me, but I wish he would have consulted me before buying it.

I wouldn’t have stopped. Family need to be taught too.
His family would have been clueless to the information. His mom thought Paul started The Beatles and didn’t know who Keith Richards was, but wore a Rolling Stones shirt. She’s 56. She should know.

Well, the Beatles are always playing and sometimes you just gotta go.
You wait till the end of the song and then leave. If you know a Beatles track is coming on next then run. Run fast, if necessary with your fingers in your ears shrieking loudly so you cannot hear the music.

Offline I was at the rollerskating arena near me and they were playing music as we went around. I thought how good it would be if they had Beatles music in their playlist. I’ve recommended it to their DJ so hopefully it happens. Day Tripper or I Feel Fine would work amazing in this context IMO.

When I was in a petrol station the other day, I could barely hear the music on the PA system, but I could pick out that it was a cover of No Reply . I turned to the man behind me in line and said, “They’re butchering the Beatles.” He said he couldn’t hear the music, and I told him to be glad he couldn’t.
