When you’re hoping to be interviewed by somebody called Larry, just so you can say “you used to be nice Larry, you used to be very charming.”
okay my curiosity is killing me, what’s that from? It sounds vaguely familiar but I don’t remember where I read/heard it or what it has to do with the Beatles :/
SAME. like i’ve said before, I love that there’s still inside jokes I don’t get.

When you visit Penny Lane and Menlove Avenue using street view on Google Maps and you are highly affronted to discover that Penny Lane did not, in fact, have “blue suburban skies” in the photo.I tried to look for Friar Park, but it didn’t know what I was talking about :/
Forthlin Road is next.
Edit: PAUL MCCARTNEY’S CHILDHOOD HOME IS LABELED!
And you won’t be surprised to hear that five or so fans are taking a picture out front.
Oh and someone is walking across Abbey Road pretending to be a Beatle.
I have totally done that!
You know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when…
1. Your friend is playing some song you hate, so you rant about how much you would rather listen to Unfinished Music Volume 2, and they have no clue what you’re talking about and ask you if they should go home and listen to it and you say yes…
2. Half of your phone’s memory is taken up by downloaded Beatles songs (I’m not even kidding!)
3. You built a phone stand out of binder clips for the sole purpose of watching Beatles music videos

You know the differences between mono and stereo mixes of the songs.
I guess I’m not very hardcore then…
(I’m not even 100% sure what the difference between mono and stereo is…)

Mono is where everything sounds like it coming from straight ahead, whereas stereo sounds like sounds are coming from left, center, and right.
So this is Twist And Shout , mono:
and this is stereo:
People on here are quite divided about which sounds better. I’m firmly in the stereo camp.

Hm, definitely a significant difference. I think I liked the mono one better, but I’m wearing earbuds, so that may make a difference.
honestly, I don’t really care whether it’s mono or stereo as long as it’s the Beatles. 🙂

Having two choices, means two ”versions” of the song, which leads to twice the listening to the song, all of this equals to double the enjoyment.

Never had Revolution 9 stuck in my head before, that must be interesting…
I do think of the Beatles every time I see a 9, though. Also every time I see a 16, a 17, and a 33 1/3.

I’m thinking about using Revolution 9 for a new ringtone (30 seconds onwards from the cheeky bitch comment). How hardcore is THAT!

When your autocorrect capitalizes random words like “please” and “with” because you type out names like Please Please Me and With The Beatles so often.
