…You've owned Rubber Soul in FOUR different formats: Cassette, CD, MP3 and 8-Track (!). (Somehow, I've never managed to acquire the vinyl…)
Also owned these in three formats apiece: Magical Mystery Tour (8-Track, vinyl, CD), White Album (ditto), Abbey Road (vinyl, cassette, CD)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
Eight track? Wow, you really are a hardcore Beatles fan!

I bow to the king of musical media!
The only one I can claim is MMT in 5 formats (8-Track, vinyl, Cassette, CD and MP3). I had to keep upgrading, because life is too short to go walking around without I Am The Walrus at the ready.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
I have MMT on five too: double-disc EP, original vinyl LP (US import, used to be my dad's – I think they were quite common in the UK in the late 60s), 1980s CD, 2009 stereo CD and mono CD. And ripped mp3s, of course, which makes six. I think that's the most versions of an album that I have. I also have the 7″ single of Hello, Goodbye /I Am The Walrus , if that counts.

Too cool – why don't we all just say, “you know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when… you are on this site to begin with!”.

I’ve already said that Zig! I’ve said it twice to be truthful
My record is Abbey Road in 3 formats (1987 CD, 2009 remaster and Vinyl)

Sorry – it's just that you say so much it's hard to keep up. My bad – I'll try to be more aware.

Five formats?! Damn you, Joe & Zig for outdoing me! And I thought that 8-track would be my ace in the hole…
Incidentally, the album cover reproduciton on that “Rubber Soul ” 8-track was altered to something uniquely ugly, for some reason. It looked like this:
Apparently the folks at Capitol Records never got tired of butchering the Beatles any way they could.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

I've got three today.
1. You look up at any mention of 9.
2. You told your mother that it would be cool if she gave your brother “The Beatles” (the cartoon series, seen in StarWisher's avatar) on DVD for Christmas.
3. Your Facebook status is “MeanMrs.Mustard wants to form a songwriting partnership/band with some of her friends and name it after her school/school mascot. Later, she will change the name to a pun on an animal name. Hey, it worked before!”
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Ha, actually I can't stand it. (The voices! The voices!) But Polythene Dan loves it.
You know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when…
1. You're in Spanish class and the teacher is making you do actions for “despertarse” and “levantarse” and you think, “Woke up, fell out of bed.”
2. You imagine Paul McCartney 's morning routine:
Paul is sleeping peacefully. Suddenly, his alarm clock rings. He wakes up with a start, jumping into the air. This action causes him to fall off the bed. He goes downstairs to eat breakfast and enjoy a cup of his morning beverage. (Tea, coffee, orange juice, whatever.) When he looks at the clock, he sees he's late and spits out his beverage. Collecting his coat and hat, he races to the bus stop, barely making it in time.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

hahahahahahaha very funny!!
And Zig to be honest, I had no idea what the Beatle connection was, so I googled beatles frog, and that came up. So I thought that was the connection.
Now you are a hard core Beatle fan when you don't understand a Beatle connection and you google it to find out what the connection is.
