There was a quiz somewhere where you had to type out the entire Beatles canon, all the song titles, in twenty minutes or something. I did it with time to spare.
I remember that – it was JetPunk, I posted it, and I only got 187 (or something like that) before time was up. It was about a year ago?

You know you’ve listened to an album too many times when you finish listening to a song from that album and hear the first few seconds of the next song on the album in your head

That’s me with pretty much everything I listen to tbh I’ve been known to have whole album-sides autoplay in my head just from being reminded of one song. I think I did it with AHDN once, without even noticing.

Me too. On multiple occasions, I’ve paused a song, forgotten to unpause it, and not even realized as my brain kept working through the song/album. (Warning: This magic ability will go away if you use shuffle too much )

The album I’ve listened to more than any other since 1989 is MX-80 Sound’s “Hard Attack”. (As mentioned several times here where appropriate.) And even today when I play the CD, I still mentally “hear” the scratches that were on my original vinyl copy between tracks 5 and 6.
And similarly (and more on topic!), it took me many listenings of “I’m Looking Through You ” on CD before I got accustomed to not hearing the false beginning, like on my old Capitol tape.

Agh the false beginning gets me every time, I have a mini heart attack every time I play it… I always think the record’s skipping.

…you are probably one of the few people who’d love to hear George Martin’s full piano jam at the end of Tomorrow Never Knows . Why does it have to fade out?!

Well, I mean, the Winston that you’re naming after was named after Churchill, so in an indirect way, you are naming after Churchill…
(I’ve been doing conversion factors so my brain is in that mode)

True. But I wasn’t thinking of Winston Churchill when I decided on the name.
