I got into Elvis pretty strongly last year and ever since. It has to be a really special artist for me to go full worship level. Elvis hasn’t quite reached my Beatles fandom yet and probably won’t. But I do really enjoy and admire his music.

Offline You know you’re a hardcore Beatlemaniac when you listen to a Beatles song and the song ends and your brain automatically starts to plays the first few bars of the next song on the album. I just finished Can’t Buy Me Love and my brain went: “Any Time At All …”

I have a similar problem. When I was younger, so much younger than today, my dad and I had a compilation album we made in the car. We listened to it a thousand times over, and subsequently the song after Help ! isn’t The Night Before , but Eleanor Rigby .

I have a similar problem. When I was younger, so much younger than today, my dad and I had a compilation album we made in the car. We listened to it a thousand times over, and subsequently the song after Help ! isn’t The Night Before , but Eleanor Rigby .
I’m always terrified that that will happen to me, which is why I’m too scared to listen to an album on shuffle more than twice a month. Which is a shame.

Because a lot of modern day music is just so much better than all those bands (except The Beatles and some Pink Floyd). Have you never heard of Taylor Swift??? Honestly, I’d argue that she has less filler on her albums than the average Beatles album does.
You know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when the teacher in your art class knows that when you’re the only person left in class, it’s obligatory that he puts on Beatles music. I’ve never even asked him to, either; he just knows.

This happens too much. If a beatles song plays on the radio, i turn it off when it’s done and just sing the next song.

Offline We went to the bookstore today and they had a big music section with CDs and vinyls and that sort of thing, and I immediately took it upon myself to track down all the Beatles/ solo Beatles material. I found Pure McCartney, which I have been coveting for a while, and I almost bought it but it was forty dollars so I didn’t. Their selection was kind of lame: they had Rubber Soul , Revolver , the Concert for George, George Fest, some kind of George compilation album I don’t remember the name of, and around five or so random Paul albums. I couldn’t find any John or Ringo.
And that’s when you know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan.

Offline I was in the bookstore looking at a biography of Paul McCartney and next to it there was some book on tractors that said “Yesterday and Today” on the cover.
… and you know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when that’s enough to make you think of the Beatles.
