…I was just going to carve five minutes out of my busy paper-cram-writing schedule to play ‘Here Today ‘ and not quite gently weep all over my guitar.

. . . you see the word “star” and you think it’s spelled wrong. Also when spellcheck no longer bothers to correct you when you write Starr, Beatle, Beatles, or Beatlemaniac.

. . . someone says “I Want To Tell You something!” and you think they’re talking about the songs. Afterwards, I Want To Tell You and Something take turns being in your head the rest of the day.

…I see the word ‘star’ and I think, ‘David Bowie wrote nine songs with the word “star” in the title’
Does this mean I’ve successfully recovered from my Beatles addiction, or have I simply become reliant on multiple drugs?

When this guy you know is wearing slightly round glasses and proclaiming himself, “John Lennon ” and you start screeching at him phrases such as:
“WHAT’S HIS MIDDLE NAME THEN”
“WHERE’S HIS WIFE FROM”
“THAT’S WHAT I THOUGHT”
My friend had to forcefully remove me from the situation and remind me how to breathe. Pretty sure he thought i was having a stroke.

Honestly though ME
To answer your questions:
Winston originally, then Winston Ono.
Which one?
On a side note, I just realized that (unless I am mistaken) Yoko, John, and Sean all had the same middle name. (kind of)
I ain’t no teenybopper!

John never lost the Winston from his name.
He added the name Ono but that did not – and could not legally – replace Winston.
His full name was John Winston Ono Lennon legally.

When you cut your hair short with a fringe (i did) and whenever I ask my friends to guess what I’m listening to they immediately know I’m listening to The World’s Favorite Moptops. Lol
Reporter: Beethoven figures in one of your songs. What do you think of Beethoven?
Ringo Starr: He’s great. Especially his poetry.

Honestly the Beatles have the best hair ever. Two of my favorite Beatle hair pics are my avatar and Paul on the Live At The BBC cover (volume one)
And for the sake of staying on topic, you know you’re a hardcore Beatlemaniac when you have favorite Beatle hair pics.

You know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when seeing the “Ringo… a horrible drummer?” thread makes you shocked and angry, even though you know the title doesn’t reflect the content of the thread.

When you spend hours trying to find a new profile picture and finally find one you like
Also when you lecture people your age about how music nowadays just isn’t as good. My friends are tired of hearing me say it, but it’s true! Why can’t modern music be as good as The Beatles or Queen or AC/DC or Pink Floyd or Rush etc.?

New music sucks. And I’m just not interested either. Beatles music (and others such as Elvis) are like the warm embrace of an old, familiar friend.

I agree wholeheartedly. I’m the sort of maniacal purist who doesn’t listen to any music except Beatles/solo Beatles. I can’t bring myself to like any other music because it feels like a betrayal.

I’ve got a feeling that another artist will capture you when you least expect it. And then another…
