…alphabetical order irritates you to no end because it puts Abbey Road before Please Please Me .
(And Animals before The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, but that’s another story )

You know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when songs like ‘Do You Want To Know A Secret ‘, ‘Twist And Shout ‘ ‘it wont be long’, ‘Please Mister Postman ‘, ‘help’, and ‘You’re Going To Lose That Girl (THIS ONE IS PERSONAL)’ start playing and you are unsure if you should sing the main vocals or the back up vocals.Bonus points: Extra hardcore Beatles fan when you try singing both the main and backing vocals.
The only songs I do backup on are Please Mister Postman and Help !…. my personal favourite moment is the handclaps in PMP.
Loved seeing George and Paul do the handclaps in the ‘Anthology series’ taken from ‘Big Night Out’. Sadly I cannot find a clean intro online.

Guilty. Some songs, I just have to play more than once so I can sing along to each part. I always play Because at least three times in a row. I can’t choose which harmony I like best, so I just do them all.
Word of advice: start with the high harmony and work your way down. It’s harder to make it through three times without messing up your voice if you do it the other way ’round… George’s part is the hardest to learn/get right, but it’s the least demanding on the vocal cords.

One of my friends was saying how they were listening to the Beatles because we were discussing Imagine and of course I was like, “Imagine is by John.” And then they were like, “You’re on a first-name basis?”That’s besides the point, but yes, yes I am.
I’ve been on a first-name basis for so long that I’ve forgotten that most normal sane non-Beatlemad people aren’t.

When instead of the normal and bland Google Chrome background, you went to the Chrome web store and downloaded a Beatles theme so that when you open Google there’s a huge photo of The Fabs.

…you’ve heard enough of the Get Back sessions and 1960 rehearsals to know that not everything the Beatles touched turned to gold.

One listen to ‘If You Got Troubles’ or ‘Hold Me Tight ‘ showed me that.

I have that one too! Well, the rainbow one, anyway. There weren’t any others when I got that, but there might be now.
You know you’re a hardcore Beatles fan when you have that background and love it, but are also a bit peeved that they are from different years.
