You have a Halloween class?
Yeah, it depents the kind of school you are.
Elementary and high school don't celebrate Halloween at all. But as part of American culture English teachers explain students traditions related with Halloween and we ask them to bring candy and share. Some schools don't allow it at all.
But ESL schools take this as an opportunity to have fun. Classrooms are decorated, and on Halloweeen we invite all our students to wear a costume and we have competitions.
From the 3 schools I teach, 2 of them are having Halloween related activities. That's why I'm having my Paul Sgt. Pepper 's costume made. I'm wearing it at school.
BTW A student asked me if there was another Beatle cover you could get ideas for a costume, and I don't know why I thought of this .
Imagine a couple “dressed” like that …
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.
Beware of Darkness…

How about the White Album ? That should be very easy. It looks something like this…
As for me, I'm still waiting for your sister to knit a Walrus costume for me. Will I have to wait until Halloween 2011?
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

You know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when you teach King Lear to your class, and when you get to Act IV, Scene VI, explain that some of the dialogue is part of the chattering at the end of “I Am The Walrus “. Then your students look at you like you have four heads because they're only 20 years old.

Pleasure to be of service. 😀
And that wasn't even all of them…I think I joined about 50..
And some random even made me an administrator of their page, just cause I 'liked' it.
Not sure if this one counts, but you know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when you're playing Truth or Dare in class at school, and one of the dares is “let someone draw or write something on you without you looking”, and they write “I LOVE YOKO ONO” on you in massive letters.
I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octopus's garden, with you.
