Also, why is this topic in the ‘All Together Now ‘ forum?
Because there isn’t a “Yoko Ono” subsection (though E.T. thinks there should be).
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.
Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

It should be remembered that John was heavily involved in most of Yoko’s music until his death, and his memory hangs over much of it since.
I cannot think of any other artist that an ex-Beatle was as heavily involved with their work apart from Yoko.

I think, as she is Beatles-related if not an ‘official’ member of The Beatles™, her topics should not be in ‘ATN ‘. She is primarily related to John as John’s wife, so the rightful place for her topics are in John’s sub-forum. In my humble opinion.

Anyway, staying on the topic, I rather like “Yes, I’m your angel” (perhaps the one and only), by Yoko. Her singing “trollalalala” is epic!
Oh, gosh, yes. I cannot think of ‘tralalalala’ without thinking of Yoko caroling it. Cracks me up every time.

Same–tralalalalalalalalaaaaaa
Totally ruins the ‘avante-garde BS’ image that the haters project upon her.

Oh, man, that ending scene with the words on the sand being erased by the water. Brilliant.

This is the Yoko Ono song they finished the night John was shot. It has some of his best guitar. It sounds very new wave.

Are you guys saying that Yoko is a Beatle? If she isn’t, then it should be a “non-Beatles” discussion, right?
No, of course not.
However John was heavily involved in Yoko’s music and 3 of his albums were equally filled with Yoko’s material.
I also think John would have been damn pleased to see her added to his section as he saw them as being johnandyoko. If the other mods disagree then they are free to move it however it makes sense to me.
