OHHH YOOKKKKO! My love will turn you on…
Sorry I had a little moment there…..
Anyways, about Yoko. I know a lot of Beatles fans that DO NOT LIKE HER AT ALL. I, personally, am a fan of her. She was John’s wifey, mother of his child, and she influenced John a great deal.
I really have nothing more to say about this woman…..but I want to hear your comments:) So spill!

I love Yoko, I’m so terrified of admitting it. I do blame her a lot for the tensions in the studio… but… wasn’t John the one who brought her in there? He seemed to be the insistant one–not her.
I think her and John were soulmates and I appreciate her as his partner. Together they spread wonderful messages and quite frankly, I’ve never had much of a problem with her.
"I'd like to end up sort of unforgettable."

I like Yoko, if you listen to interviews with her and John she’s a really smart person who has great ideas. She was the inspiration for John’s two most beautiful songs, Imagine and Because so that alone gives her a lot of credit. As for her as an “artist” I personally can’t stand her. I mean she makes screeching banshee noises and then passes it off as her art. But she was very ahead of her time I suppose, but that still doesn’t mean that she can sing.
I sat on a rug, biding my time, drinking her wine

I hate it when people blame her for breaking up the Beatles. Sure, she possibly was one of the reasons, but definitley not the main reason.
They did spread wonderful messages. She was, and still is a peace activist, like John. Which is one of the reasons I adore Yoko!

I can’t stand her music either. She sounds like a baboon..

but seriously I hate her. She (and john) claim that you can just simply have peace. Without the light, there is no shadow. Remember that, kiddies.
Sorry for being such a hippie, but you can simply have peace, Mr.Big. John made that clear in many of his songs…

Me and my girlfriend met Yoko in Ann Arbor, MI a few years ago on the street. It was a weird encounter.
That’s cool. Did you say hi or ask any questions?
It’s the weirdest thing, and sounds totally made up – but I swear, it’s not!
Me and my girlfriend, Lindsay, were standing on the street outside of some Octoberfest thing and a band started to play. We stopped and watched because I’m interested in all kinds of music and what not. So we’re standing there, minding our own business, and up comes an older Asian lady, wearing large black sunglasses and a newsboy type hat. She’s standing right next to us. I look at Lindsay and make a shocked face. She wasn’t with anyone. She looks at the band, then looks at us and says, “Well that’s more Polish than German.” Then she laughed. I said “Wow, it’s really nice to meet you!” I probably sounded like a big dork. She smiled and said “Thank you. Enjoy yourselves.” And she walked off. It was totally surreal.
