Not Octopus's Garden 😐
No seriously it'll kill you.
I'd go for Revolver songs, myself. They seem nice and simplistic c:

What's the trouble with Octopus' Garden? Is it just the key it's in, or the lead riffs, or what?

Rubber Soul seems like a good place to start… maybe Michelle or Girl. But I have no clue about guitars… just think they're cool!

My standpoint as well- give anything a go!
I too recommend Revolver , some tracks sound easier than others, though I haven't the foggiest about the execution.
Tongue, lose thy light. Moon, take thy flight… see ya, George!
It depends on your level, but if you're a rhythm guitarist starting out, simple three- or four-chord songs like Get Back , Come Together , I Saw Her Standing There , All Together Now etc.
Get a bit better and Sexy Sadie , Here There And Everywhere , Hey Jude , I'm Only Sleeping and Girl will sound good. None of them are that difficult to play.
I Feel Fine and Day Tripper are good for riffs.
Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon

Stupid question, but why would the songs on Revolver be easier? Wouldn't something from Please Please Me be easier since that was more or less their live show?
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!
