Yes, men judge that much, just on a different criteria. For me, it’s the “If I could look exactly like one of the Beatles, who would I like to like?” It’s who’s looks would you most prefer? For me, it’s George.

Excluding Stuart? But it is true that John went to art college, in the late sixties and early seventies I think his “artsy” appearance was very much inspired by Yoko, it suited him though ( except for the beard)
I was referring to the “official Beatles”: out of John, Paul, George, and Ringo, John was the most artistic. Maybe in an unconventional, childish way, but that’s what has always made me drawn to his work. And thank you, Yoko, for reawakening his artistic soul…even if it was in an out-there kind of way!

I guess that I answered it then.

I already said it on the picture thread but this one is more appropriate. I just wonder if John had a hairdresser living with him in the house , because every day he would have different haircut, straight hair, curls etc…

It’s possible that he had an on-hand hairdresser, but I know that my hair–which seems to be very similar to John’s in regards to color, fineness, thickness, etc.–does its own thing from day to day without the assistance of styling or products. Some days, I’ll wake up and it will be beautifully (as in uniformly) wavy; other days, it’ll be straight on the top layer and bizarrely wavy on the bottom layer. Some days, my hair is so crazily wavy that it almost looks curly; and then other days, I’ll wake up to find that my hair is almost all the way straight (with the exclusion of a few softened waves at the bottom). So it’s possible that he had someone style his hair; but, judging by how schizophrenic my own hair seems to be, that could have just been what his hair did naturally.

Well we all have that, for e.g. mine, when I wash it and let it dry it gets curly in the back and on the sides (i hate it when it does it on sides) but if I for e.g. don’t wash it for 2 days (yeah I sometimes do that) it gets straight and actually looks better. But in John’s case, it is just it is so drastically change, and it’s like his hair was growing so quick. I started letting my hair grow but it isn’t at half of what I imagined to be by now.

I always attributed John’s everchanging hairstyle to his well-documented tendency to get bored of things quickly and want to keep moving. The Beatles all went through lots of visual changes over the years but John surely went through the most!
It’s like every year is so drastically different than the previos one. And the best part, they were all good looking on him.

I actually have a couple of friends who have naturally curly hair (I’m talking big, soft, movie star kind of curls), and their hair looks the same every day without the aid of styling or products–and don’t I envy them for it! I also have quite a few friends who have naturally straight hair, and they’ve never used a straightener a day in their life (even both of my sisters have straight hair like that). And none of my friends/sisters (excluding the ones that actually style their hair–which was no one on this list) blow-dry their hair; they all let it dry naturally. So I don’t think everyone has “schizophrenic hair” like you and I seem to have. And while John may have changed hair styles quite a bit, I am in 100% agreement that he looked good with whatever kind of hairstyle he had. Then again, he was just a good looking man.

Yeah probably, it’s just my hair is thick, and I think I would need to start use round brush to get it totally straight, as it is getting Harry Potter style very easy, and that’s not the style I want to be honest .
P.S. Sorry for a bit off topic.

Ok.
To me, they all looked incredibly hot around ’66. None of them looked too attractive around the White Album period (except Ringo… and George was incredibly sexy…. so yeah, John and Paul were looking pretty rough). John was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen in ’66 because he’d gained a little weight (and I like me some chubby boys) and his hair was long, but not hobo long. George looked really sexy in 1968, right before he grew the really long hair and beard… Paul did not look good in ’68 however, because he had girl hair (sorry). He did look cute in ’64-’65, but I’ve never really found Paul that sexy… Yeah, he’s attractive, but not really sexy to me… Ringo looked good around Let It Be and The White Album . I like him better with a moustache. They were all pretty attractive, but as for the best-looking, I think….. John takes the cake. He’s always been my favourite and his sense of humour and smile and voice and cuteness is so attractive to me! And yes… I am a shallow little 13 year old… But, hey, hot guys are hot guys….

Rest assured! I suppose everyone taking part in this thread is “shallow” in some sense. Not like the beatles themselves weren’t! And my theory is, well, that the more attached you grow to a person, the better s/he ends up looking. And yeah, John can be very cute at times ( what a cute baby he was , by the way)

I love them all, they were all adorable, funny, and sexy at the same time…
BUT
I’m particulary captivated by a certain Mr. George Harrison .
I love his little awkward gestures, his accent, his little crooked smiles, his lankiness, HIS CHEEKBONES (they should be illegal) and his overall personality. *stops drooling on keyboard*
But they were all just…just……. *fangirl sigh*

I, too, was going to agree. In case I had any doubts though, I looked at that photo. No, none whatsoever.
