Hey Brian Epstein! Anyone smell a rediculous scandal based on nothing but that picture? I like seeing footage of Brian so from the Anthology.
Nice video! Poor Brian, such a tragic end. So sad that he had to hide who he was back then. What a messed up world we live in.
People have claimed that Paul “used his sexuality” to get what he wanted from Brian. Would not surprise me, really. I mean, it’s Paul, he was (is) well aware of the effect he has on woman, and maybe also with Brian.

He’s too perfect, I can’t even handle it.
Anybody else slightly fascinated with that bracelet he wore a lot in the early 60’s? ^^Yes!
Isn’t he though?
Where did he get that damn bracelet?
I think I read somewhere it was Jane that gave him the bracelet. I could be wrong, cause its been a few years.

I read the Beatles (or at least Paul, John and George) were given the bracelets by one of the Hamburg club owners as a thank you. Don’t know when or if it’s true.

Well I like that theory better than the Jane theory. Either way, kinda neat.

Ringo had a bracelet as well. It was nicked while in America in 64/65, but was returned to him.

Does anybody think that Ringo looks better nowadays than he did when he was Fab?At any rate, his face hasn’t acquired the distressing puffiness (surgically assisted?) that Paul has shown in recent years.
Ringo is aging well, for sure. Paul is puffy?
Awwwww!
At any rate…
Those eyebrows..
Oh and here’s a good one of George!
You’re Welcome.

Paul could be very very charming so it was probably that more than anything that helped him influence Brian’s decisions but it wouldnt surprise me either. I know that John, Paul and George were at times horrid to Brian using his hidden homosexuality against him, mainly in the early days, but there was nothing vengeful to it, more that he was a very good friend and all of them knew it wasnt really meant. Thats why it bugs me when i read speculation that they would have ditched him in ’67 when his contract ran out as their manager. Brian wouldnt have had the same responsibilities and position as before but he certainly wouldnt have been abandoned.
Im way off topic and rambling.

I had to return the book to the library, but I remember thinking that Tony Barrow made the most convincing case in his book that Brian was being ditched. And if true, maybe they wouldn’t have seen it as abandonment so much as a necessary business decision. The way they let Alistair Taylor get canned and never returned his phone calls comes to mind. If I get the book again, I’ll post the quotes in a Brian thread.

Here is my perspective, which may be biased because, of the four, I myself have always most resembled John in personality and looks–but I think John is the best looking. Paul’s mouth is too small and his eyes are too big and too spaced apart. Ringo’s lips are funny and his nose is too big. And George has really bad teeth.
As to who is better dressed–Paul was better dressed in the early days. John was better dressed in later days.
Of the living Beatles, Paul is better dressed, and Ringo is better looking.
