Paul & Linda are goals for me. I don’t really have a “least favorite,” but seeing George and Pattie or John and Cynthia kinda makes me sad, knowing how their relationships ended.

Paul and Linda seemed like two peas in a pod, and that relationship seemed beyond calculation — a blessing, an enduring fluke, an endearing coincidence.

Indeed. I watched a clip on YT where Paul speaks about Linda’s death, and how they thought they’d be together into their 80s and beyond. They were a true pairing. It really makes me wonder how things would have turned out if John and Cynthia remained together. Julian would’ve had a more whole childhood, for one. But alas, that’s history and we’ve all got to carry on.
