The Yoko Ono thread is where this should be debated. Let’s not turn this thread into a Yoko Oh No thread.
If the film is animated, then Ringo and Paul could voice themselves.

Thanks for keeping this in line SS?.
While we can certainly discuss any role Yoko may or may not play in allowing such a film, discussing her specifically should be kept to one of the appropriate Yoko related threads.

I REALLY don’t like Yoko. She came into John Lennons life, made him abandon his son and wife, she then broke up the Beatles, and pulled him away from all his loved ones. She ruined the Beatles. She got to Johns head and made him leave his best friends in the Beatles.
Apologies to divert the thread back for two seconds but thats complete bullshit. However the correct thread to reply further is here so lets move over there if this is to go further.
Regarding the film i’d rather the Beatles gave their permission for the songs to be used, approved the film and then kept 100 miles away so nothing got omitted due to their not liking it.

That would be ideal.
It’s easy for me to say from the front steps of my glass house, but I can’t help feeling that their image is bullet proof and would not suffer from any exposé type of details. Raise your hand if you are not already aware that each of them could be a flaming debaucherous asswipe at times. They’re human.
Funny how we are clearing the way for a film that isn’t even in the works – at least as far as we know.

Their music is what attracts and what stands up thru the last 50 years +; in no way is John making impressions of the disabled, Paul taking coke, George doing Ringo’s wife or Ringo being an alcoholic going to affect that musical legacy. Unfortunately Apple and all who are part of it don’t see it that way and so upon hearing John messing up a lyric have to have it “fixed”.
