To paraphrase John on Elvis, the Moptop died when John joined the Army.
6 September 1966, John is transformed into Musketeer Gripweed of the 3rd Troop, the 4th Musketeers (also the day he started wearing the National Health granny glasses).
Some would keep their Moptops longer, with them getting longer and shaggier, but the Moptop as the uniform Beatles cut ended on 6 September 1966.

I think Paul may have had his moptop for the longest time.
Ringo had his for a while as well.
George changed his hairstyle in late 1966 but he had it again in 1968.

Offline Paul certainly kept his moptop the longest. He also had a beard and/or moustache for the least amount of time.
I sort of think that maybe they lost the moptops slightly in 65 and regained them on their last tour, before getting rid of them after. At least for me.
