‘George Martin Scores The Beatles’. 27 of the greatest orchestral scores George Martin wrote for the Beatles material, direct from the EMI/Apple mastertapes.Already they have given us the score for ‘Eleanor Rigby ‘ and ‘Within You, Without You’ on ‘Anthology 2 ‘ and listening to the isolated score for ‘I Am The Walrus ‘ its quite fabulous.
I did have a good laugh at this mmm, until you mentioned I Am The Walrus score. I bet it sounds pretty intense.

Interestingly it comes from a jam clearly based on a very different arrangement of ‘Twist And Shout ‘ which is not something that will change your life if you hear it.

Maybe some vocal track for “Flying ” that got accidentally muted during the mix down and everyone was so high they forgot about . . . one can hope

Who knows, maybe good ol’ James Richards will stumble back into the purple ketchup universe and steal another Beatles cassette tape that our universe has never heard before. You’re right one can only hope…. (Wait is that too fantasy?)
But in all reality, new songs get released by Apple sometimes. They’ve released Live At The BBC , Abthology, Beatles Bootleg (only 1963 so far) which all contain new non commercially released songs.
Side note: Doesn’t Flying have vocals? The “da da da da da”

Offline I’d love to see an official Let it Be soundtrack. Sadly I doubt this will ever happen because it would probably have to be coupled with a remaster of the Let it Be movie which isn’t being remastered anytime soon.

I’m pretty surely convinced that it was all ready in 2002/3 before Apple crapped themselves found a huge stash of undiscovered unheard unseen outtakes in Australia. So bag in fact its taken them 13 years to go thru them. It’s probably the same person who is putting together Paul’s Archive releases – i’m going to have been mummified, turned into a god, fallen from godly greatness and come back as me before either are completed and released.

No, it has never been officially released on DVD. It has been fully prepared for release on DVD, Michael Lindsey Hogg has confirmed on more than one occasion, the most recent being in 2014, that there is a two-disc version all ready to go. It just needs the men (and women) from Apple to say yes. Just because it hasn’t been released officially on DVD, which is what’s said in the other place, doesn’t mean they don’t have it all ready to go.

The videos in 1 DVD of Get Back and Let It Be were reconstructed from the remastered footage.
Get Back Sessions were remastered because in Let It Be Naked promos, in The Beatles on Record (as Beatles remaster mini-documentaries) or in the All Together Now Documentary included outtakes.
