My favourite odd Beatles fact is that, when EMI was more than just a record label, and was mega rich with The Beatles’ money in the 1960s, they funded the development of MRI scanning (it was originally known as an EMI scan). Bear that in mind every time you hear of someone having a scan – it’s The Beatles you need to thank.
