Yeah, I don't think I could either, having them stare at me every morning. No me gusta. I wouldn't mind the curtains in music room/ library.

No, I took the sums out to see if it makes a difference. If I get spam I'll turn it on again. In honesty I didn't know it was there until it was pointed out in another thread. I don't have to add to post myself, being an admin.

Oh I see. Thanks for explaining that. I hope we don't get too many spammers.

I was feeling kind of bummed that I didn't get a job that I had applied for, so I was going to change it to this:

but that seemed kind of negative, so I went with a funny one. It's still George's month so, it works. 🙂

Hi Lewis! It's weird how well it turned out. I might have to try other combos.

I wish they still sold Beatles candy. Do you own those?

Unfortunately not. I sure would like to though!

Anytime at all, all you gotta do is call, and I'll be there.

There's some impressive stuff in there. I dread to think how much money was spent accumulating it all.

Did anyone else think of this? (sorry for low quality/translation)

Always. When my relatives start giving me crap about it my usual response is, “Well at least I'm not like Ned Flanders!”.

Would anyone look at this and say, “Oh, that’s a John Lennon design”? @ Sherry’s Collectables

Ha! I probably have earrings to match in my old jewelry box. *runs off to look*

Edit: :-/ I found them, but the camera on my phone can’t handle objects that small. But yes, they were my favorite it 1st grade.

Here’s an oldie. I thought they were a joke (Royal Flush cigars?) but they’re real, and I have the sense of humor of a twelve year old. a-hard-days-night-john-7

Judging by the photos those are from around 1964. I hate to think how many kids took up smoking because The Beatles had their pics on them. Then again, possibly very few – do children even like cigars?

If they’re bubble gum, sure. I prefered candy cigarettes myself.

There are cigarette cards too. It’s not like the tabacco industry is above targeting children.

a-hard-days-night-john-3I’ve got alot of Beatles crap…
I’ve got a bunch of 1964 trading cards of my mother’s. Must be the whole friggin’ set, she had so many! And I’ve got some trading cards from like 1997 or something. I also got all of her picture books and fanzines that she kept through the years. I’ve got several coffee mugs of different albums and a Sgt. Pepper afghan blanket.
But, the real jewel of my collection was a gift from my father (both parents were huge Beatles fans).
He is a retired postmaster (please Mr. Postman) and while he was still working, he collected stamps since he had access to all types. When I was but a boy he came across an international stamp magazine that featured some Beatle stamps from the Republic of Chad, Africa. Well, God love him, he ordered me the whole set!
They are paintings, even a few by Voorman, of the band and some individual paintings of John and Paul. A few sheets are just regular, though very colorful, rows of stamps. But a few are full paintings where just the face of each member are the stamps. There’s even one painting of Paul with his rickenbacker 4001S FG psychedelic bass as seen in the “All You Need Is Love ” broadcast! And a few pics of John as a child.
Needless to say, those stamps will never see the inside of a mailbox!

Oh that magic feeling…nowhere to go!
