Offline Ringo Starr looking into who is behind that YouTube documentary trailer

A press representative for Ringo Starr confirmed to AXS.com on Nov. 27 that a teaser trailer posted on YouTube recently for a supposed new Ringo Starr documentary does not have any official connection to the Beatles drummer despite the fact it has been linked to his personal website. Efforts are being made to find out who made and uploaded the trailer.
I wanted the documentary to be official, but I was suspect because Ringo didn’t Tweet about the project.

It’s such a shame that it’s not an official documentary. Also I think the trailer should be kept up here for reference to future readers, but there should be a note saying it’s fake.

Just put a giant FAKE in the title of the thread. Also if the video was on YouTube I highly doubt the link will get hijacked and start showing porn.

Even though the doc and trailer aren’t authorised, I don’t see why they can’t be discussed here. The trailer is still on YouTube, so I’ve put it back in the original post.
I think if it was unauthorised and libellous/defamatory, we’d have a problem. But there are oodles of unapproved Beatles projects around that we discuss freely here, with clips, images and quotations etc.
