Now THAT'S funny.

Erm… I think that might have been directed at “I buried Tulio.”

But the “McLennon” probably made him laugh too.

EDIT: This is why we quote!

**chuckling**

Yeah, my comment was aimed at “I buried Tulio.” But, thanks for the compliment, mSkct.

Well my two person band (it's just a little songwriting thing so far, I wouldn't exactly call it a band) is called The Fools. After The Fool On The Hill of course, and also Fool in the Rain by Led Zeppelin. We're both huge Beatles fans and he's a big Zep fan so it fits. plus it's awesome!

It's also kind of named after the Dutch band and artist group The Fool that designed artwork for the Sgt. Pepper album and the Apple Boutique and such. Though I've never heard their music.

but yes! that is my band–er–music thingy.

Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami is named after the Beatles song, and it seems the song is mentioned several times in the story. I want to read the book

I'm sorry, but you all pale in comparison to me. a-hard-days-night-john-1 I think I feel a song coming on…

It's very plain to see, you cannot compare to me!

Standing next to me you simply pale!

And so I shout with glee, that you might as well just flee,

Cos my success is contrasted to your fails.

Why can I imagine a Disney villain singing that? Anyway, sorry for putting you through that. I'm bored, and I'm trying to pass time. a-hard-days-night-john-6

I read it (Because I heard it was a good book, and yes, because of the title) and I wasn't that impressed with it. There's an event at the end that, to me, came way out of left field, and seemed really REALLY unneccessary to the storyline as a whole.

Yeah, go buy it now! I deeply recommend it and any other novel by Murakami, specially “Kafka on the shore”, “Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World” and “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle” (the last one is my favourite).

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

Wow… Kafka and a John Woo reference. I'm getting it in my next shopping spree. Thanks Marcelo!

There's a Pepper Lane near where I live. I'm fairly sure it isn't named that because of the Beatles, but I have spent ages humming “Penny Lane ” whenever I walk down it. I only made the Sgt. Pepper connection last weeka-hard-days-night-paul-4

I told her I didn’t
