I took it to mean after John left so September ‘69 onwards.
As for the girl groups I supposed it to be during touring when such questions were routinely asked.
It’s a quiz I know about 2 questions in the back of my head and scramble to remember to the front. I’m not that bothered if we get the answers.
Marx film. Duck Soup is the only one I can name.
Girl grounds. The Cookies, Supremes and Shangri-La’s.
In America they saw some controversial comedian in a nightclub. No idea of his name but him.

6) NAME EVERY TIME A BEATLE MET AN EX-, A CURRENT OR A FUTURE U.S. PRESIDENT?
Collectively, mmm and I have named all of them. Ringo has never met a US president (as far as I can see).
7) WHICH BEATLE WAS SHOT AT AS A YOUTH?
I recall reading this in Tune In as well but I’ve searched with the search function on my Kindle for sentences with ‘shot’, ‘shooting’, and ‘gun’ in it, and no relevant results.
Mimi beating John, I can’t find any explanation for either.
2) WHAT IS PAUL’S FAVORITE MARX BROTHERS FILM?
If this website is to be believed, it’s ‘A Day at the Races’. However, I can’t find a quote or clip by Paul which supports it. The best we’ll do I guess.
Someone needs to ask him in the stupid ‘you give me the answer’ segment.

8. “One of our favorite comedians” was Jerry Lewis. John and Yoko performed on the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy in 1972, including “Imagine ” and one of Yoko’s songs. Here is a video of their performance:

I know the answers to none of these, so I thought I’d do the sensible thing and make them all up for fun. If one of these is right by accident I’ll eat my hat.2) WHAT IS PAUL’S FAVORITE MARX BROTHERS FILM?
I’d be lying if I said I had any idea who the Marx Brother’s are, so I’ll just say he liked Marxism: a deep dive into our ancestor Karl Marx, though this one wasn’t easy to find unless you knew the right people because of all the anticommunist blacklisting going on in showbusiness at the time.
DISCLAIMER: THESE ARE (almost) ALL MADE UP AND ALMOST DEFINITELY FALSE.
Oh, Kaniffee, you must watch at least the following Marx brothers’ films; they are hilarious, even 80 years later:
A Night at the Opera
Duck Soup
Horse Feathers
A Day at the Races
Animal Crackers

I also recall reading about this in Tune In and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t figure out where I read it in the book or which Beatle it was

This excerpt from Tune In (the special edition) answers both question 5 and 7.
It was good to be in his gang, even when he forced friends to steal. John was suddenly petty-thieving whenever and wherever he could. He called it ‘slapleather’, and his gang had to do it too. The first time he stole was when he liberated a ten-bob note from Uncle George’s wallet while he snoozed in an armchair. He got away with it, in fact he got away with it every known time except when he took a bit too much from Mimi’s purse and she found out. It was the only time she ever hit him, she said – she stung his legs good and hard. Shops were certainly fair game for ‘slap leather’ – toy cars or sweets slipped into pockets with shopkeepers none the wiser. Ivan Vaughan told John of a little sweet shop off Penny Lane where they could ask the woman for two ounces of something from the top shelf and, while she was up the ladder, stuff their pockets with all the sweets on the counter. It was an old, old trick. Still if there was ever trouble, if a Lennon plan went awry, he had the knack of disappearing. The gang members would turn around and their leader would be gone. One occasion he couldn’t scarper quick enough was when he and a pal were caught scrumping apples in an orchard – the farmer shot a rifle at them and they ran like hell.

2) WHAT IS PAUL’S FAVORITE MARX BROTHERS FILM?
According to this, it’s A Day At The Races. https://www.neatorama.com/2017…..the-Races/.
“It was the first film famed critic Roger Ebert ever saw. Paul McCartney was to name it as one of his all-time favorite movies. In 2000, A Day at the Races was named number 59 on the American Film Institute’s list of Funniest Films of All-Time.”
