Here’s a cool link to some pics some photographer took of the dilapidated Washington Coliseum, where the Beatles’ first US concert was held in 1964: http://www.ageowns.com/neverca…..ess/?p=958
It’s now a run-down indoor parking lot, but some seats remain…it’s jarring to see them and imagine the Beatles concert, as well as numerous other concerts and basketball, hockey, and boxing matches that used to take place there in its heyday. Here are some more pics: http://www.1959bhsmustangs.com/Pictoria … ncert.htm#

Thanks for sharing that, it was good to look at those pictures. Shame it’s just been used as a parking place now, with all the history it has. Quite sad, really.
Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.

It’s really eerie seeing those crumbling chairs and concrete steps just hovering up there in the corners. I can’t believe no one has taken one, I know I’d certainly try to if I parked there every day!

That’s a sad sight, indeed. It’s too bad when they don’t keep historical buildings in good condition. Imagine all the memories that building holds…..
