I’m kinda liking odd combos at the moment.
Here’s a track from Matthew Sweet and Bangle Susanna Hoffs, recorded for their album Under the Covers Volume 1…
And it seems they were serial offenders…

Does anyone of you know a cover of ‘If I Fell ‘ by Nirvana or Kurt Cobain himself? I’ve read that it was Kurt’s favourite Beatles song and was performed by Nirvana whenever there were technical problems in various sources but just couldn’t find a video or audio with him singing it anywhere. The only appearance of ‘If I Fell ‘ was during a live performance in Tacoma, WA in 20.01.1990 were Dave sings it (or better screams it) for about twenty seconds and horribly out of tune probably only to fill a break of relocation ( at 18:06) If this is everything that’s left, it would be so disappointing.
(well, at least there is a video of Kurt singing ‘And I Love Her ‘ on YouTube)
Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I’ve heard of it. There was an acoustic solo version of it on the Montage of Heck companion album released a year or so ago. It was the only part of the album that didn’t feel like it should have stayed in the vaults.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

Here is a really well done cover of A Day In The Life . I love this guy’s channel. He pays very close attention to detail. @Dark Overlord you should check out some of his other videos, because almost always uses the correct instrument.

Actually, I do watch his videos and it does seem that he tries to get the guitars matching up, especially in his later videos now that he has more guitars. Here’s another good one.

And of course I can’t recommend Beatles To A Tee enough.

This is a cool cover of I Should Have Known Better by a Swedish group from the 60s called Slam Creepers.
The lead vocalist on this track, Björn Skifs, went on to form Blue Swede in the 70s, who had a one hit wonder in the US with their cover of Hooked On A Feeling.

Dr. Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band – an impromptu band made up of, among others, Miles Kane (Last Shadow Puppets), Matthew Bellamy (Muse), Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails), Sean Payne (Zutons), and Chris Chester (Jet ) – perform a Beatles set at the 40th birthday party of Jamie Davis at Pour Vous in Hollywood on 28 September:
Shame it’s only extracts, and I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for the full unedited performance.
This appears to be the only song that’s out there in full… so far:

I’m a bit late on commenting on this, but that was impressive! He even kinda looks like Paul from an angle.

Vika Yermolyeva (vkgoeswild) is an immensely talented YouTuber who I’ve previously drooled over on this forum. She plays piano covers, usually of hard rock and heavy metal songs. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Here she is playing Eleanor Rigby .
