@Shamrock Womlbs Yes. It comes from the recent Montage of Heck documentary about Kurt, and was included on the accompanying Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings CD.

I’m not sure if The Carpenters have been mentioned for these two covers that I’ve found so far:
(Yes I’ve been getting into the Carpenters recently, if you can’t tell).
I love these so damn much. The slowed up and more somber way Karen sings Ticket To Ride ….

If this has been shared, forgive. But it’s awesome. Please Please Me covered by garage rocker Link Wray.

I recently watched the film “Frank” and here is the original Frank Sidebottom. He does a little discussion about The Beatles followed by his version of Twist And Shout and then a Beatles medley (I was in fits listening to this). He also does “Flying ” .Just a warning he does make a few cruel Paul/Ringo jibes but it’s all tongue in cheek.

I don’t know who this cover of She Said She Said is by but I love it. Well worth a listen. Any ideas?
EDIT: I think it’s Mark Mulcahy but not sure.

Great instrumental George cover that’s been sampled by many rap/hip-hop/etc. acts over the years.

And as an extra treat, Eric Burdon and War covering A Day In The Life …

I get sucked in to every cover labeled as “great,” “incredible”or “fantastic.” Personally, they almost always seem like pale imitations. The only one I think was really better than the canon version is I Call Your Name . I dunno, I just like the Beatles.

Ahhh Girl, EvangelineI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Ohhh Boy just introduced me to a cover of Something done by Charlie McCoy.
He heard this back in the 70’s, before he knew it was a Beatles song.

I’ve listened to quite a few covers by this band, and I think their cover of Rain is the best they did, though it must be said that they do B-sides and do them very well. And Your Bird Can Sing and the entire Abbey Road Medley were also very good.
