Anthology 1 , 2 and 3 are being added to the collection of Beatles albums available to stream from Monday. No doubt in time both ‘Live At The BBC ‘ volumes, ‘Let It Be Naked’, ‘Love’ etc will be upped as well.
Presumably these are the remastered versions as available on iTunes.

Offline Ah, great that the Anthology albums are up now as well! I am enthusiastic about them being available to listen to on Spotify. It’s great, so younger people can discover them too. Can do nothing but support this.

The iconic British band just passed 100 days on the streaming service and have outperformed modern pop stars like Sia, Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande, reportsCNET. Just to remind you — none of these artists were born by 1970, the year the Beatles disbanded.
The Beatles netted 6.5 million listeners each month on the streaming service, and a whopping 67 percent of listeners were under the age of 35…
The most streamed Beatles song on Spotify is “Here Comes The Sun ,” followed by “Come Together ,” “Let it Be” and “Yesterday .”
Residents of Mexico City stream the Beatles the most, followed by Londoners and then residents of Santiago, Chile and Los Angeles.

Mexico City! I swear, one of the Beatles tribute bands I like, Get Back , *always* plays there. I haven’t seen them here in south Florida for ages. I just looked and they haven’t had any dates at all listed in awhile. Hmmm…

Offline Mashable.com reports that the Beatles are now available to stream on the “Indian digital music streaming company Saavn.
The catalogue on Saavn will include 13 remastered studio albums and six audio collections. Until now, the English band’s songs could only be streamed on Apple Music, which made its India debut last year…
“I grew up listening to The Beatles, and have always felt a special link with them because of their famous love for Indian culture and music,” Paramdeep Singh, Saavn’s co-founder and executive chairman said.

Offline The Beatles held off giving in to letting their music streamed, but it looks like finally putting it out there was a good move.
The band’s music was only made available to stream at the end of last year, but was apparently a popular choice as it’s now racked up over a billion views.
Not only that, according to Music-News.com it’s earned a pretty incredible $17,000,000 in royalties. Probably wishing they’d done it sooner.
