I've just received a copy of The Beatles For Ukulele from Amazon. Looks OK – 20 songs with chord diagrams to play along with, as well as musical notation for the melodies.

I'm making my way through that book, but I've been stuck on Ticket To Ride for a while just because it's a tough song to duplicate with a uke. The best song I can play is With A Little Help From My Friends , but that's mostly because my voice sounds most like Ringo's…unfortunately.a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

I didn't notice it before, but during the coda to Free As A Bird , Paul does these really nice Come Together -style bass runs. Nothing to do with the ukulele but there you go. Thanks for posting that clip Zig – I'd not seen it before.

When I was on music camp, one of the teachers asked me to play the ukulele on a song, so the teacher showed me some chords, and after 30 minutes of teaching, I learned to play 'Back In The U.S.S.R.'

Very cool. I haven’t played my uke in a while (damn you guitar!) but the best thing I learned was a fingerstyle version of In My Life .

No, unfortunately the piano is way too fast. My computer has been acting up, so I’m not sure if this video will show up, but I can play a version similar to this.

That's pretty cool.

But I don't think that was a good arrengement.

In My Life doesn't suit (for me tough) a jazz ballad.
