So I was searching the web and happened to come across a discussion on what would the world be like if The Beatles had never existed
A lot of people were saying ‘There would have been another big hit band instead of them’
If so, do you really think they would have accomplished as much? Would this other band have went from Rock pop to Psychedelic to Soft rock etc?
Would they have been so prolific? What if they had only lasted as long as the height of Beatlemania?
This proves we are so lucky that The Beatles were born

There have been a lot of bands who sell lots of records, but I think it was a combination of the 4 personalities, massive talents and the times that led to the whole Beatles phenomenon – so I disagree with the premise. If this mythical other band would have occurred, then they would have also occurred when the Beatles did – maybe they are the Stones, who had a big impact but just not as big?

I think this forum is so neat in the way it helps youth and experience come together. We have so much we can learn from each other.

I reckon the Dave Clark Five or The Hollies or a band similar to them would have still sparked off a British Invasion somehow, someway, but probably a little earlier or later than The Beatles did. Maybe a British Invasion never would have even happened, meaning Elvis and other veteran artists careers might have disintegrated a lot slower than they did. Just my opinion.

Maybe the origonal beatles could be super heroes instead of musicians.
