SunKing that must be a rare edition or a mistake in the print. Double Albums are Disc 1 Sides 1 and 2. Disc 2 Sides 3 and 4, to avoid confussions with the side of the album you wanted to listen.

Offline Some double albums are like that, I asked my mom and she said it’s because in the olden days, when she was a kid ; after side one was over you’d drop the other record on it and then flip them!

Offline Beatles For Sale is a wonderful album, in my opinion their best early stage album before Rubber Soul blew the whole music scene apart (Help ! is a close second) and way better than A Hard Days Night. One that shouldnt be overlooked.
Pepper is greater as a whole than its individual components. Pepper summed up everything that was happening in the UK and the US at the time, something no other album has ever done. However its not the best beatle album. Revolver was far more progressive and even Rubber Soul was a bigger step forward in their career.

Offline Hard Day’s Night easily trumps For Sale, because it is all original. However, RS wasn’t the first step towards new territories. Help has some very creative and unique for them at the time songs.
