Another early Bee Gees song. This one sounds like a mashup of Taxman , I Want To Tell You and If I Needed Someone :
And for those who didn’t know already, that album artwork is by a certain Klaus Voorman.

Early BeeGees sound really Beatley.Like this song;
It’s like a strange combination of Taxman and all the songs off of Rubber Soul .
(A very good album in it’s entirety, if any one has the time.)

This song by David Gilmour has a riff toward the end that sounds very similar to the recurring Abbey Road theme (the rest of it is reminiscent of other Gilmour/Floyd tunes).
I also think that the harmony/some of the chord changes in this song is rather Beatlesque:

I was listening to ‘Quicksand’ by David Bowie, and I had it paused at ~2:35, and when I unpaused it, I realised that the falsetto chorus sounds very Beatlesque, like Abbey Roadish or something.

Listened to The Tremeloes for the first time the other day – I did post their song “Right Wheel, Left Hammer, Sham” as the song I’m on a kick of, but I also really like this song of theirs called “Me And My Life”:
Thought it sounded like a cool cross between Hello Goodbye and Come Together , not to mention the lead vocal on the verses which could easily be John!

I first heard this track on a compilation of early Randy Newman-written songs recorded by other artists, and I thought it was a first-rate knockoff of early Beatles. I’d almost believe it was an obscurity of the Hard Day’s Night period. A good one, at that. Even the slightly dinky guitar solo evokes the obvious model. It was a collaboration between Newman and Jackie DeShannon.

I found this site when I was searching for “sounds like Beatles” in an attempt to remember Emmitt Rhodes’ name. Please pardon the extreme cheek of posting my own song but it has elements from a number of Beatles tunes. Not done intentionally, mind you, it’s just what a lifetime of listening does. It was written to “celebrate” the election of the worst president in US history.

Just been replaying an incredible game of my childhood LittleBigPlanet. Any fans here? Anyways, there’s this song on one of the early levels that when I didn’t know anything about the Beatles, I always thought it was theirs because it sounded a lot like them. All these years later, it still sounds like them, although it does have modern editing choices and stuff that show that it’s not. However the influence is incredibly strong.

My goodness, it must have been at least 6 or 7 years since I played LBP.
Don’t remember that song. The first part sounds like the White Album , then it becomes closer to Let it Be by halfway through (that For You Blue influence with the guitar sound).
And as you say, the production is great and very Beatles-esque
Good song!
