Ok, so I had this idea from another forum that there should be a topic on random singing of Beatles songs throughout the day. Like if someone said (and this was a real conversation) “Help me with this math problem” and you sing Help ! and then they're like “Why are you singing?” and you start singing Tell Me Why . I have had many of these moments, but sadly only my Beatles-crazed best friend gets it. So, if you're like me and no one seems to get it or no one was there to share the epic moment, you can share it here.
Here's one from today: My friend Katherine said “Jill, remember to do the project tonight. Please don't let me down, this is due on Tuesday” and so, I had to sing Don't Let Me Down.

When I ask my students “Ok what did we study yesterday?” and nobody answers I start singing “Yesterday …. all my troubles seem so far away..”

I have two moments!!
one: I was walking into school and there were these emo people outside and right when I was almost inside one of them said “I'm sooo lonely” And I was thinking 'must resist the urge', then when I knew I couldn't resist it anymore I burst out singing Eleanor Rigby
two: I was in Washington and a sign said “Blueberry Hills” and it sounded like it could be one of those messed up, spoofed Weird Al songs. So I had to sing Strawberry Fields Forever .
