If you are going to do it, please try to be original and not so boring.
Here’s one, what if the outro to Helter Skelter was mocking Yoko. Or how about a joke, what do you call a song that has three part harmonies from Elvis Presley, George Michael, and Yoko Ono, I don’t know but there’s three people screaming on the toilet.

Beatles being unpopular in Japan.
And some more Japan footage.
And they were so popular elsewhere that year?
(some footage there I adn’t seen before!)
Japan was hardly a failure compared with elsewhere that year.

Japan went quite well considering how badly things were in the US and the Philippines. A few protests and gripes over desecrating a sacred building turned out to be nothing.

A few people have now asked you to stop. If you don’t like Yoko fine but please take the friendly requests, let it go and move on to something else.

Eh?
I meant that they were a hated kind of unpopular in Japan instead of an obscure kind of unpopular. Witchfinder General is an obscure 80’s metal band that sounds similar to Black Sabbath, while Saddam Hussein is a terrorist that started 2 wars (would’ve been 1 if George HW Bush just shot him for starting the instead of sparing his life) against the US.

The Beatles weren’t unpopular in Japan. I have no idea what this is all about now.

Sorry man, you don’t have to get pissed off about a comment I made 2 hours ago and also, only 1 person has asked me to stop.

I’m not “pissed off” in the slightest.

Didn’t you make a post saying Beatles being unpopular in Japan.
My comment was heavy sarcasm highlighted by the proceeding two videos which showed the fact that they weren’t unpopular.

1) They were very popular and only objected to by religious and cultural extremists (Japan and, very possibly, the US);
2) Witchfinder General is actually a 1968 Hammer film starring Vincent Price as, um, the Witchfinder General, after which the band named themselves;
3) Saddam was a bad world leader, but not a terrorist – at least no more the UK or the US governments. He did bad things, deserved to lose his country, but the Western democracies are little better.
Time for us to stop apologising for crap countries on human rights because they sell us cheap crap (step up for your round of applause, China!).
And what will happen in the US now that the Trumper says he’s going to ban cheap imports and have things manufactured more expensively at home, while chopping out the legs of environmental protection (as he has confirmed just today) because climate is a Chinese anti-American conspiracy that will have no impact on the US if they dump all of their moves against coal.
The good Americans have their heads buried in the hands, while lots of others buy the bullshit they’ve been sold or hope Trump is the false man of peace spoken of in Revelations that’ll bring about Armageddon (small place in the Middle East).
Why do we keep giving the nuclear button to religious nutters who believe in all that fire and brimstone crap?
Jesus! Like making me the head of the Rolling Stones fanclub, and me going onto declare John, Paul, George and Ringo are my favourite Stones!

Nena, sexy German with hairy armpits, got to no. 1 with 99 Luftballoons in the US, while in the UK we went for 99 Red Balloons. Same way as The Beatles German recordings were released in the US in 1964, and had to wait until 1978’s Rarities to see their first UK release.

Does Donald Trump like The Beatles because I know that Barack Obama likes them and nothing worse than a president with a bad taste of music.
Donny baby prefers the Stones. He comes onstage to You Can’t Always Get What You Want, while he’ll likely walk off to (No) Satisfaction. SAme as every political leader does!!!!!

It’s weird that English speaking bands would be popular in a country that doesn’t speak English, I mean the closest thing to a popular band in the US that speaks a language besides English is probably Rammenstein.
Not really, gangnam style was popular and a few Spanish songs got big.

I couldn’t care less if my countries leader liked the Beatles or preferred The Carpenters, what matters to me is his or her policies, characteristics, the way he/she carried out their governorship etc.
And i can think of many worse things than a President not liking a pop group.
