Hi all,
Just to let you know about a new collection of Beatles photos that are due for release soon. They were taken backstage and onstage during their UK tour of 1963/64 by an acclaimed photographer and cinematographer, at the start of his career.
These iconic images have never been published or seen before and so represent a unique chance to own a real piece if Beatles history. They will be released as limited editions – as soon as details are confirmed regarding prices/limited edition numbers, I will let you know – and I'll keep you updated with any more information as soon as it comes in!
If you go to the website at http://www.the-beatles-hidden-…..allery.com you will see a preview image to give you an idea of what the collection will be like.
There's also a Facebook group, called 'The Beatles Hidden Gallery' where updates and annoucenments will be made.
To follow on from this, Louise from the gallery emailed me before posting to check it was OK to mention the site here – she says she'll drop by and announce further news when it's ready.

Are these the Time/Life photos of the USA tours? “The Beatles – Backstage and Behind the Scenes? Or is this a toatlly different set of photots?
I saw backstage and behind the scenes at the museum here in Winnipeg, it was here for 2 months. If this is the series your talking about it’s great!!! Wonderful pics of the boys as they tour around America.
If this isn’t the set your talking about then I don’t know anything……lol. 🙂

No, these are different photos entirely!
They were taken by BAFTA award winning cinematographer and photographer Paul Berriff, during their UK tours in the UK 1963/64. They were taken backstage and onstage at various locations and have never been seen by the press or public before.
You can view them on the website http://www.the-beatles-hidden-…..allery.com

They have a link to the interview with Paul Berriff on the news website:

They showed a montage of some of the photos and have some of the framed ones (that will be on show at the Menier exhibition) in the studio – they are pretty impressive. read: HUGE!
Those pics look absolutely great. Thanks for posting the links – it looks like a very interesting exhibition. I’m in London this Thursday so I’ll try and pop in and see them properly.

Hi Joe – shame you can’t make it Thursday, but hopefully you’ll get there to see them sometime this week.
Paul, the photographer will be on GMTV tomorrow morning with some of the framed images. He’s due slots at 6.15 and 8.20 – maybe a little behind or ahead of schedule as it’s live TV, but look out for him while eating your breakfast if you can!

Aye, they are not the cheapest – but they are genuine, rare and certified collector’s pieces of art, so that always comes with a heavy price tag!! I want one but can’t afford it – in fact, there are about 6 that I would really love to hang on my walls. Though I’d need bigger walls – the A0 sized ones are MASSIVE!

Hey Joe,
Did you get a chance to pop along to the exhibition in the end? There’s talk of further exhibitions, to give more fans the chance to see the whole collection together – they are massive and very impressive to see close up! If we have another one, I’ll let you know so you can hopefully get to see them if you didn’t this time around 🙂
