I always interpreted it as “that you would love me more than (you loved) her,” but I guess that doesn’t make sense unless someone is gay or they’re singing from the perspective of a girl.

Offline “I can’t spell,” is not grammatically wrong. It is spelt wrong on the card, but is grammatically a legitimate, grammatically correct, phrase.
